CADSA Committee Meeting 19th August 2026

Following the Derby Home Match the CADSA Committee met to discuss feedback reported to us during and immediately after the match. We therefore wrote to CAFC regarding the feedback and are pleased to say that they have responded today (28th August) with the below responses to our comments.

  1. During the match we became aware that there were no bins in the disabled toilets for hand towels or for sanitary use. We reported this to CAFC and are pleased to say that bins have been implemented into all Disabled Toilets as requested for tomorrow's game vs Preston.

  2. Some fans reported that the toilets needed amendments to make them more accessible such as more handrails, lowering of toilet roll holders etc - Awaiting response - as this is remedial work we are aware this may take longer to action and CAFC are to look at this during the international break.

  3. The NE quadrants lift again broke during the match (something that occurred on multiple occasions last season). We suggested that as this is a recurring issue that a Engineer should be on hand to test the lift 10 minutes before the end of each match and repair if needed - Awaiting response from CAFC.

  4. We are aware that there are 55+ Wheelchair Season Ticket Holders. When you add this to the Ambulant Season Ticket Holders there significantly less parking spaces (circa 35) compared to the number requested each year. We have therefore suggested that a system similar to what West Ham had in place for fans at their stadium should be a possibility for the club to consider going forward and investigate as an option (West Ham Disabled Fans can park at Westfield Shopping Center and use a pre-bookable mini bus with the box office to attend matches) - Awaiting response - We are aware this may take longer to action.

  5. At the end of last season CADSA had some leaflet holders installed near all disabled lifts / toilets to hold emergency evacuation plans and other information relevant to Disabled Fans. CAFC updated us to say these stands now have the latest CADSA news and evacuation procedures installed.

Further updates will follow from the Preston Match tomorrow!
