The CADSA Committee met on the 13/01/2026 to discuss a multitude of subjects surrounding accessibility for home and away fans this year.
Below are some of the topics we would like to highlight:
West stand car park
It has been noted on some occasions that there have been cars blocking disabled vehicles both over and in spaces - this has been raised to CAFC.
Cars parking in spaces allocated to disabled fans - this has been raised to CAFC.
Most temporary filling in of pot holes has being completed however the car park remains uneven - to be raised at next safety meeting - in the meantime time fans should be aware of the uneven-ness and approach the car park carefully.
Disabled season ticket holders struggling/not getting parking – resolved.
CADSA looking at other locations locally where CADSA members could park or where a coach could pick up members and drop to the stadium - Charlton Park School approached but no response - other venues discussed and to be looked into.
Cars parked in disabled entrance walkway blocking drop curb during the match against Coventry - CAFC made aware and stopped from parking in this location at the Chelsea Match.
Disabled entrance walkway not gritted/access through icy pothole - to be raised at the safety meeting next week with CAFC.
Away travel coach
The coach is bookable for away games when booking match tickets via the club. The coach has capacity for 1 wheelchair along with ambulant or semi-ambulant wheelchair users.
It has been made available for several upcoming matches including Leicester.
Details of how to book spaces are in the match day programmes.
When looking at pick up points please be aware some may require a short walk from available parking so checking before booking is recommended.
Disabled Away Fans sightlines in the Jimmy Seed Stand
Some away fans have mentioned difficulties seeing matches when supporters in front were standing.
This was raised to CAFC and 4 rows in front of the disabled area have now been blocked off with netting so that away supporters are not blocking their disabled fans.
CADSA Committee are looking to set up Q&A events, quiz nights and other events for CADSA Members. Locations and dates are yet to be decided but we will keep you updated.
